India’s leading motorcycle manufacturer Bajaj Auto has launched their new motorcycle ‘V’ in February 2016. The Bike V contains metal from India’s first and most celebrated aircraft carrier, the erstwhile INS Vikrant. It has received an overwhelming initial response with more than 25,000 customers expressing interest in the “V” on the company’s website. The reveal of the pricing at Rs.65,113/-, ex-showroom Guwahati has also created huge excitement among customers.
Containing metal sourced from the erstwhile INS Vikrant, the V is unlike any other commuter motorcycle. The bike exudes an invincible character and stands proud, strong and tall.
With 150 cc DTSi engine, the V is capable of delivering a maximum torque of 13 Nm at 5500 RPM, and a peak power of 12 PS at 7500 rpm. The V is also equipped with invincible bright 55/60W trapezoidal headlamp, 60% brighter than other bikes, which cuts through the darkest nights. The V comes with a stylish removable rear seat cowl, which can be instantly detached to seat the pillion. The new speedometer cluster with a dual colour LED fuel level indicator and an elegant LED tail lamp enhances the solid no-nonsense character of the bike.
The V will be available in two colours Ebony Black and Pearl White.
