Arunachal: TRIHMS will start functioning from August-2018

The dream ‘Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Science’ (TRIHMS) is coming true and is about to ready for functioning in August from the current session of 2018 on wards, Said Health & Family welfare, RD, Panchayati Raj Minister Alo Libang today.
Libang alongwith officials of Health & Family Welfare, Medical and Technical Education visited and inspected the progress work of the upcoming TRIHMS here.
The team visited Wards, Library, laboratory, administrative blocks, mortuary, all department, dissection rood, cancer unit, Anatomy branch, physiology, Nursing School, Hostel building for boys and girls, OPD and meet the patients of different wards and also discussed with few .
After inspection and discussion with officials Libang directed the TRIHMS administration to take care of the upcoming project and report the up to date work progress to the higher authority.
TRIHMS Director Dr. Moji Jini inform the visitors that almost all the requirement to function the Medical college is nearing completion for the 1st year class to began.
Library have received more than 1700 books, four dead body have already arrived, freezers have been installed, mortuary is completing, administrative block for 1st year is completed, faculty problem is also being resolved and few are about to reached soon and there shall be no problem to start the classes once 50 intake students come to college, few sophisticated equipments have arrives and are functioning while remaining are arriving in phase manner as per requirement.
While interacting with the faculty Minister Libang said that it was a dream to have a good hospital with all facility and most important was requirement of a Medical college of our own , which is coming to be reality.
He assured all his support in functioning of the college and requested the faculty to guide the department and about the technical works need to be carried in the greater interest of the TRIHMS and state.
He said that he is satisfied with the work progress undertaken by the construction company M/S Kenge Construction and hope that the tempo should be continued so that the academic atmosphere does not get hampered during the course of time.
