Arunachal: Security beefed up in Itanagar ahead of Independence day

Security beefed up all over Arunachal Pradesh, particular in Itanagar capital complex ahead of the 72nd Independence day celebration to be held at IG Park on August 15.
City Police Chief M Harsha Vardhan in an interaction with Arunachal24 daily said that elaborate security have been made in all around the capital complex. All Check points, nakas have been alerted and additional security personnel have been deployed.
Police has also increased the frequency of Hotel and guest house checking in order to keep vigil on anti social elements. Simultaneously patrolling at sensitive locations from Bandardewa to Holongi is being conducted.
He also said police are making elaborate arrangements to ensure peaceful and smooth conduct of state level celebration program on Independence Day.
