More than Rs one crore cash has been seized all over state, informed Additional Chief Election Officer (ACEO) Kangki Darang . Darang said that Model code of conduct is strictly maintained for a free and fair conduct of elections.
According to Darang, out of Rs one crore sized cash , Rs 34.90 lakh was seized in Longding in one go is the highest. second highest seized amount around Rs 14.50 lakh in Nirjuli . Beside that field unit members (FST) team of East Siang seized around 11.11 lakh.
The amount above Ten lakhs are referred to IT department and so far we have send around Rs Sixty lakh cash and referred three cases to IT department for further investigation. Darang said.
We have around Tree Hundred twelve field unit members (FST) who are field surveillance team, statistic surveillance team (SST) who are working around the state.

All teams are working on the ground. These team are also monitoring the violation of Model code of conduct for a free and fair election will be there and putting our best effort and sought the cooperation of the general public. Darang added.
Meanwhile the PHQ sources inform that as of March 22 a sum of Rupees One crore forty one lakh seventeen thousand and fifty , Rs, 1,41,117, 050/- have been seized, 3 nos of .32 revolver, 4 nos of 12 bore SBB gun, 9 nos air gun, 3 nos of .22 bore rifle, 695 nos of Dao (sword, 80 nos detonator, 735 grams of opium, 20577 litres and bottles of liquor/wine/beer and breezer, gelatin sticks, bow and arrow, ammunition of 12 bore SBBL gun, .32 ammunition and air gun pallets were recovered and seized during the intensive checking in various parts of state. several banners, posters and cut-out of various political party and political leaders have also been removed which attract the MCC, SP Operation, MK Meena said.
