Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu today stated that state govt shall henceforth never take up the issue of PRC matter keeping the sentiments of the people. He further appealed the people to maintain peace and for the normal life to continue in the state capital.
He further informed that exgratia has been announced for those deceased during protest and assured to meet their family members.
He further informed that a meeting of all community based organisations and all party have been called tomorrow to discuss on PRC matter.
Today I have talked to few CBOs of different communities over phone and called for a meeting with them at 10 am to discuss about the present situation. Along with that I have called for a all Party Meeting to have a detailed discussion regarding the recent situation and the PRC issues, CM informed.
I have cleared the Govt stand on 22 February that we are not taking the PRC matter forward and want to reassure that we will not take up the issue of issuing PRC to non-APST in future. Still few incidents are taking place where few young boys have lost their life and injured. I am deeply saddened for this and once the situation is normalised I will visit the families personally, said chief minister.

The chief minister appeal the people of Arunachal Pradesh that the PRC issue is being ended, please end the protest and rallies and cooperate with the government to maintain peace. In regards to the violence and damaged caused during the protest, I have ordered for a commissioner level detailed inquiry to find the facts that public can know the truth behind it.
I also believe that there are some forces behind all the incidents. Arunachal Pradesh is a peaceful state and specially Itanagar is very peaceful, but there might be some hands of few people in the violent incidents took place in the night, said chief minister .
The chief minister said that the incident took place on Sunday I think the latest stand of govt regarding the PRC is not reaching to masses. Though the number of security personals are increased, It is not a matter of satisfaction to me as I beleive that less number of security personals are good for a better society and future. They are here for our safety only, but not for any untowards situation that might happen.
