Arunachal: DADS board meeting of Kra Daadi dist held

The first board meeting of District Agriculture Development Society (DADS), Kra Daadi for sectoral allotment of funds as well as per discussion on project proposals under CM Sashakti Kisan Yojana and CM Krishi Samuh Yojana was conducted at the Office Chamber of DC, Kra Daadi.
Tojo Basar, ADO(Hq) briefed the gathering about DADS, CMSKY & CMKSY. Agriculture and allied departments submitted various proposals, such as setting of Integrated Farming System Model Farm, preservation of local germplasm, vermicompost units, integrated nutrient & pest management, dairy unit, feed mixture unit, goat rearing model, silkworm rearing unit and etc.
Chairing the meeting, DC Kra Daadi, S. Miji advised the gathering to do the works with a mission mode so that poor and marginalized farmers get benefits and to make the District self sufficient in food items and to reduce our dependency on importing food items from outside.
He also advised the departments concerned to submit the DPR as per the sectoral allotment and guidelines within a week.
The meeting was attended by the HoDs of Agriculture and allied departments along with progressive farmers from the District.
