The winners of the recently conclude commonwealth championship karate championship at Durban in South Africa and also the recently concluded North East Karate Championship in Nagaland where the performances of the Arunachal players were excellent called on its APP Sports Council Board President & IGP Sunil Garg at his office at PHQ today.
The participants from Arunachal Pradesh Police who have been appointed through 5 % sports quota into the service and are playing for the state and nation. These police officer and personnel’s are presently posted at Arunachal Pradesh police control board Chimpu under the disposal of Commandant 1st Bn cum Secretary APP Sports Control board Chimpu
Only medal winners of commonwealth karate championship and North East karate championship at Durban South Africa and Nagaland meet Sunil Garg who is also at present DGP Incharge.
The Champion are Inspector PN Jomoh won 2 silver medal in the 9th commonwealth karate championship at Durban South Africa, rest ct. Pisa Nachung, ct, Kaling Palon, L/ ct, Mui Ama bronze medals in the 6th North East India karate championship at Sokovi Dimapur and Ct, Janam Dodum gold in 1st North East India Olympic game and bronze in 6th North East karate championship.
