A huge retaining wall near Dree ground along the NH-415 between Itanagar-Naharlagun collapse today morning following a heavy downpour since early morning.
The same retaining wall was repaired on earlier occasion previously and again this year, but due to leakage of water of the roadside though the pores of wall due to which it may have collapse said Executive Engineer (Highway) Nani Tath.
He also said that since the agreement for construction of the four lane have already been done recently and the work may start shortly by the executing firm after having formalities so the cautionary signboard and red ribbon will be displayed for the passerby to have precautionary measured while passing though there Tath said.
