The villagers appreciated the improvement in power supply in last two years and placed their request for change of LT line to HT Line, a new transformer, electricity connection for newly completed badminton club and at Toma Gonpa.
The Dept of Disaster management distributed pamphlets in Monpa dialect on do’s and don’ts during disaster like earthquake and also awareness on forest fire. Treasury dept sold stamp papers worth around INR 2980, Labour welfare board got nine new Labour registration, 25 people got registered under Chief ministers Arogya Arunachal Yojana, more than 175 patients got health checkup and treatment, 05 new job cards registered under MGNREGA, 46 beneficiaries under UJJALA yojana,10 registered for old age pension,01 widow pension,02 under Chief ministers disability scheme registered under Department of social welfare, and sanitary napkins made in Tawang under skill development were sold, Agricultural dept distributed vegetable seeds, and nine farmers got registered under Hortnet to get the benefits from Horticulture dept. The education dept felicitated three toppers of classes five to six, six to seven and seven to eight. A few consumers also deposited their electricity bills in this camp.
DC Tawang Sang Phunto alongwith other officers inspected the village and instructed all the three village Gaon Burahs to maintain cleanliness in their villages, after which Gendan, Gaon Burah of Gispu village also spoke to the villagers on cleanliness drive to be conducted in the village twice a month. The villagers of Sherbang, Gispu and Shakti availed the Government facilities at their doorstep in this camp.
