Chief Secretary Shakuntala Gamlin briefed the Chief Minister and his colleagues on the progress of the works which is being carried out rapidly. She informed that the Arunachal Civil Secretariat will have a full proof security system with Door Frame Metal Detectors, X-Ray Scanning Machines, etc in all the entrance gates and will also provide security system separately in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat Building.
She also informed that all the staffs working in the Civil Secretariat building will be provided with Radio Frequency Cards and attendance will be taken through Biometric System in all the blocks. She also apprised that separate cards will be issued for the visitors in the main entrance.
She further informed that the building which was earlier funded by the Ministry of DONER, is presently declared as state project and 95% of physical work has been achieved said that the Chief Minister Secretariat Building will be ready for inauguration by 15th August 2016.
The Arunachal Civil Secretariat will also have Multi-Level Parking Building, Compound Wall with RCC Retaining Wall with solar fencing and fancy lights, Sanitary Ventilation System, High-Mast Light, Recreation & Day Care Centre and Connecting Bridges in between the buildings, informed Chief Secretary.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister, Chowna Mein, MLAs Kumar Waii, Lombo Tayeng, Phosum Khimhun, Thangwang Wangham among others.
