Muklom Elite Society Convened Executive Meeting

Muklom Elite Society Convened its Executive Meeting on Sunday at Inspection Bungalow, kharsang, district Changlang, Arunachal Pradesh under the chairmanship of Samchom Ngemu, the former cabinet minister.
In the meeting various social menaces like drug abuse, mentoring of professional courses aspirants, upliftment of poorest of the poor and unemployed by guiding them in the right direction in life for many of the frustrated unemployed youths have been found to be diverted into wrong tracks like joining various antisocial underground groups, indulging in drugs addiction.
Sensing the gravity of the situation and insecure lives of the upcoming generations, this Muklom Elite Society for which it has been constituted had resolved to take up social awareness programs from time to time to win over the hearts of the wayward youths in the district through proper counselling and awareness drives.
The various department officers like Er. Latsam Khimhun, Executive engineer, power dept, Miao sub division, Er. Longsam Yanchang, Deputy Chief engineer, oil India limited, posted in Duliajan, Mr. Mungnong Ngemu, Administrative officer, Geo enpro petroleum limited, kharsang oil fields, Dr. Temik Khimhun, MO, Changlang head quarter, Dr. Kamlang Ngemu, Dr. N. Ngemu, MO, Miao, Er. Pusam Tangha, DFO, Changlang head quarter, who is also a General secretary of parent MES, for changlang district, Mrs. Wihong Khimhun, CDPO, Namsai, Mr. Hangkam Tungkhang, Range Officer, who is also a treasurer of the MES were present in the meeting besides various highly qualified individuals in different domains from the society.
After threadbare discourse on various issues based problems pertaining to Muklom ethnic clans among Tangsa tribe arrived at common resolutions and the meeting ended successfully followed by a community feast. Looking at the social disturbances across the region from all fronts, the Muklom Elite Society for which it was constituted year back had resolved to stand firmly with the visions of the MES to ensure that the society be helped to strides forwards in all fronts in socio and economic development in the days to comes.
