Itanagar: Now free WiFi facility in Ganga Market available
Capital DC, Prince Dhawan today launched free WiFi for the traders and other in the Ganga market .

The Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex Prince Dhawan launched free WiFi at Akashdeep Complex today in front of Director IT Neelam Yapin Tana, EAC Itanagar Hengo Basar, President IMWA Yumlang Achung and a host of other officers and members of Itanagar Market Welfare Committee, Naharlagun Bazaar Welfare Committee and traders of Akashdeep Complex.
Addressing the launching programme Dhawan said each device would be provided up to 2 GB per day after which there would be charges for the same. There shall be of two category one for trader/businessmen while other for all.
He said that with the launching such facility of free Wi-Fi, the traders would now find it more convenient to make digital payments. He hoped that such a step would bring transparency as well as invite more customers through digital payment which would reduce the burden of bringing along cash for payment.
He said that two networks have been provided one for the traders (DA ICC -Traders) for regular use and the other for public ( DA ICC- Public) and the area of Wi-Fi network start from Nirvachan Bhawan to RKM post office.
The DC also distributed biometric device to shopkeepers for transaction through AADHAAR linked payments. Earlier also during a programme at the same venue, the DC had distributed biometric device to the shopkeepers wherein he had promised to provide free WiFi and expressed happiness and satisfaction that his promise has finally been fulfilled today.
He said that any new thing implementation are started for the convenient and safety and security of all with a motive of making the work easier in compare to earlier. He sought cooperation from market welfare committee who will ensure that the digital payment would be encouraged throughout the Market community.
IMWA President Yumlam Achung, Itanagar EAC Hengo Basar, Capital DDMO Moromi Sonam, DIPRO Keter Bagra and other officers of IT department, Capital Deputy Commissioner office, Executive Members of Itanagar Market Welfare Association (IMWA), Naharlagun Market Welfare Committee and traders of Akash deep complex and Ganga Market were present during the launching programme.
