Itanagar capital police organised several activities in capital complex to mark the “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” , the ‘National Unity Day’ alongwith rest of state and country.
Capital SP Tumme Amo informed that ” the Arunachal Pradesh Police, Capital Unit observed the “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” today on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and various events have been oragnised involving all stake holders in the capital complex.
He said that Run for Unity was organized today early morning at 5.30 am where about 300 administrative /police officers including ADC & SP, public and students of Sange Laden Sports Academy (SLSA) had participated.
Unity Pledge was administered at 11 am at SP capital Office & all Police Station/Out Posts where about 500 officers & men from Civil Police, AAPBn, IRBns, CRPF, etc led by SP had participated.
Traffic Awareness at all junctions points of National Highway (NH-415) from Chimpu to Banderdewa by all officers and men of Capital Police led by SP at 11.30 am to 12.45 pm where 5000 stickers pledge to obey traffic rules were distributed and 1,920 leaflets/pamphlets were pasted.
A march Past by officers & men of Civil Police, AAPBn, IRBns, PTC Band with playing of patriotic songs from Itanager police station to IG Park 1500 to 1630 hours. Brief of the life of Sardar Patel was narrated. Amo added.
Amo said that maintaining of law and order is only possible if all stakeholders join hands and change the mindset to abide by all rule and law and abide by the principle of life as a good citizen and support the law enforcing agency for a peaceful and beautiful capital of state.
He further appeal all to join hands to make a peaceful capital where all section of society live together for a happy peaceful and harmonious life.
