Itanagar: 7 houses gutted in 4 LPG cylinder blast

Four LPG cylinder blast leaves 9 families homeless, 7 houses gutted in Itanagar, 3 houses gutted in Naharlagun.

The township rocked by four nos of LPG cylinder blast near AP Civil Secretariat this morning followed by a massive ablaze which devour more than 3 houses and attached 7 rent houses and others property there.

Itanagar Fire Station Sub-Fire Officer Nabam Dokho inform Arunachal24  that a phone call received at around 5.10 this morning of fire incident  near AP Civil Sectt at E Sector. Immediately three fire tender rushed to the spot which takes around more than 1 and half hour to completely douse the fire  from spreading into the locality.

There was 3 OBT CGI Sheet roofing houses having 7 rented compartment completely gutted all household and personal belonging which could not be saved due to the huge ablaze after the cylinder blast simultaneously. The building belongs to one Koj Santi.

A Maruti Alto belongs to One Nido Borum and one Motorcycle belongs to Sapu Laskar also gutted in the devastating fire mishap. The reason for the mishap is stated to be short circuit and the loss of property is yet to ascertain. Dokho said. One RCC building was also partially affected. Dokho added.

In another fire mishap which occurred at D Sector Naharlagun which gutted one scrap dealer with one OBT house with CGI sheet roofing

Naharlagun Fire station Sub Fire Officer G Liolong inform that the fire which took place early this morning at around 4.50 which completely gutted One OBT House and dry scrap material kept there.  Two fire tender douse from spreading into the locality. The house  belongs to one Nagar Ali while the ownership of Tadar Nyaniya. Liolong said.

Senior BJP leader and state  Vice President Tame Phassang  and Itanagar Market Welfare Association (IMWA) Yumlam Achung  visited the family members of fire victims that occurred wee hour of December 16 at ESS sector, Itanagar today.

 Phassang and Achung  extended financial assistance and some relief materials to the nine victims’ families as an immediate relief from his own expenses .while interacting with the fire victims, he assured to convey the message to Chief Minister Pema Khandu and concern department and district administration for relief from the government side.
