Arunachal: PTC organises eye check up camp for student

An Eye Check-up Camp was organised at Police Training Camp(PTC) at Banderdewa especially for the school children of VKV PTC and Govt. Middle School PTC wherein over 200 children benefited.
PTC Dy. SP (Training) Dusu Kaling , said that the camp has been organised to provide free Eye Check up and care to the school children who have to devote most of their time in studies and thereby are prone to eye related ailments.
He informed that the camp was organised in collaboration with the Tomo Riba Institute of Health Medical Science Naharlagun and PTC Banderdewa and the idea was conceived by the visionary leadership of Director General of Police (DGP) SBK Singh, Police Welfare Society Chief Advisor Dr. Sushi Singh to have welfare measures for the family and children of the police personnel who have no time to spare for family due to round the clock duty.
The Medical team included Dr.(Mrs) Yapa Guha, Eye Specialist, TRIMSH and Dr. Hage Munya, Eye Specialist.
Earlier, Police Training Centre, Banderdewa Principal Surendra Choudhary while welcoming the team of doctors and their staffs for their noble cause in conducting the Eye Check-up camp for the school children and also exhorted for full utilisation of the Health camp.
During the camp, several eye check-ups were conducted and needful prescription as well as tips on eye care were elaborated and awareness on safety of eye was presented by the team fo doctors.
