NPP, Arunachal Pradesh has resolved to support BJP MP Candidate Tapir Gao and BJP MLA candidates where there is no NPP MLA candidate in Eastern Parliamentary constituency.

National People’s Party (NPP) has put up MP candidate Khyoda Apik in Arunachal Western Parliamentary Constituency but not in the Eastern Parliamentary Constituency, stated by the party spokes person Nima Sangey Saling through a press release issued by him.
Nima informed that “as per direction of the party high command, the National People’s Party (NPP) Arunachal Pradesh has resolved to support BJP MP Candidate Tapir Gao and BJP MLA candidates where there is no NPP MLA candidate in Eastern Parliamentary constituency”.
Moreover District Committee of NPP in Eastern Parliamentary Constituency has also expressed their interest to support BJP MP Candidate Tapir Gao in Eastern Parliamentary Constituency and BJP MLA candidates where there is no NPP MLA candidate, mentioned in the press release.
Meanwhile the NPP president of state unit Gicho Kabak has directed all the District and Block Committee of NPP in Eastern Parliamentary Constituency to support BJP MP Candidate Tapir Gao and also support BJP MLA Candidates where there is no NPP MLA Candidate in the Eastern Parliamentary Constituency.
Further, the State President has expressed that though BJP and NPP has no pre-poll alliance in the state of Arunachal Pradesh but post poll alliance for formation of Govt. is imminent under the NEDA.
It must be mention here that the BJP and NPP has alliance Govt. in three states ; Meghalaya, Manipur and Nagaland under the North East Democratic Alliance (NEDA)
