Arunachal: NRFC lift the 6th vocational running trophy football tournament

Nabam Rade Football Club (NRFC) lift the 6th vocational running trophy football tournament beating the rival team Young Generation Football Club (YGFC) by a margin of 2/1 goal in deciding match in final here at Poma general ground.
The tournament organised by Eleven Star Football Club. All together 7 team participated in the tournament which kick off on May 20 which concluded today with a valedictory function and prize distribution.
The prizes were given away by the local MLA and Minister Land Management and Environment and Forest etc alognwith HODs and former PRI members, youth leaders and BJP Party worker.
Addressing the players and participants and committee members minister Nabam Rebia lauded the local youths for organising such events and advised the players to maintain discipline and promote sense of brotherhood among each other.
Citing the example of India’s ace footballer Sunil Chetry, Mesi and others , he said that football is favourite game all over the world and encouraged the boys to aim high and try to make it professional.
Responding to two points memorandum of Eleven Star Football Club, Rebia assured that he is always ready to help and will sponsor the tournament as and when it will held in future and also assured to provide best quality sound system from MLAD and asked the club chairman to prepare the cost of sound system which would be utilised on other occasion also.
The winner went away with cash award of Rupees Seventy Thousand with certificate and trophy while the runner went away with a cash prize of Rupees Thirty Thousand and trophy.
Regio Tapu of NRFC become best scorer, Gengte Ajay declared as best player, Likha Paje become best goal keeper while Akum Football Club was adjudged as bet discipline team of the tournament
