Arunachal: ICDAB Chairperson visits and inspects OWA
ICDAB Chairperson today visited Oju Welfare Association ( OWA )and inspected the Children Home & Specialised Adoption Agency .

Inspection Committee-cum-District Advisory Board (ICDAB) of Papum Pare District, headed by Mr. Joram Beda, Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairperson, ICDAB, Papum Pare District, today visited Oju Welfare Association ( OWA )and inspected the Children Home & Specialised Adoption Agency (SAA) under JJ Act, 2015.
He was accompanied by Mrs. Bengia Dipti, President, APWWS, Mrs. Dani Yami, Deputy Director, ICDS, Dr.(Mrs.) Subu Tasso Kampu, DMO, Mrs. Gari Tai, DSP, Mr. Techi Ayo, PO, ICDS, Mr. Tadar Apa, ADEO.
The ICDAB team interacted with children rescued from Pasighat recently. They inspected the premises and commended the efforts of Smt. Ratan Anya, Chairperson along with the staff of OWA.
The ICDAB Members offered homage on the Samadhi of the Founder Chairperson of OWA, Padmashri Awardee late Dr.(Hon.) Binny Yanga.
Mr. Joram Beda further expressed the visit to be “a heart warming experience”. It was quite a surprise when he offered to partake the simple food prepared for the Children.
OWA appreciates his simplicity as this is the first time that any visiting dignitary shared lunch with the children.
OWA express their thankfulness to Mr. Joram Beda, for his humbleness and support offered to the organization in its future endeavors.
