The All Tajang Youth Association (ATYA) on Thursday seized 52 nos of point 2×2 gun live cartridge, 8 nos of Cartoos Gun live cartridge, 1 nos torch Light, 2 nos of cartridge beg etc, during forest patrolling from Ring road, Tajang, Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh .
ATYA advisor Rubu Tadii informed that the Explosives recovered from Tajang Village belonged to hunters who, however, could not be apprehended.
The union has been actively involved in preservation of nature in the area and was also recognised by Lower Subansiri DC during last Republic day for its contribution in the field.
The recoveries are being handed over to DFO Ziro.
