Arunachal: APCC demands quick action on TAH Scam

MLAs from Yachuli, Ziro and Raga are also involved in this scam which are been proved through their silence- Takam Sanjay.

Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President Takam Sanjay demanded quick action on the Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) scam particularly Potin to Bopi and Joram to Palin road till this month last. Where more than Rs 200 crore has been misused.

Addressing media person at Arunachal Press club today APCC president Takam Sanjay informed that the re-verification reports of some portion has been submitted to the State government by the Committee, where hundreds of people, including high level officers, political leaders has been illegally collected  crore of compensation amount without, property, land, building etc, but many of real land owners were not given the compensation amount properly.

Appreciating act of Chief Engineers cum Director Urban Development Taba Tedir by voluntary refunded of Rs 3.25 crore received as compensation for his property at Billo village for construction of TAH.

Sanjay appeal all those person who were illegally received the compensation amount without any land or property should be refund the received amount  before their name should come out in public domain or legal action against them.

The list has submitted to State government by the Committee , which is strictly monitoring  by Governor of State and Congress party also accessed to list.

Demanding state government to all action and formalities should be complete till 31st January,  Sanjay said all the money should back to deputy Commissioner of Lower subansiri District , and  it should be distributed to the genuine land owner basis of first Detail Project Report (DPR) which was submitted to the Ministry of Road and transport government of India.

Demanding  take legal action against all those who involved in the scam sanjay alleged that three MLAs from  Yachuli, Ziro and Raga are also involved in this scam which are been proved through their silence.

While  appreciating the Environment & Forest Minister Nabam Rebia warning and appeal to all those persons who have illegally collected huge compensation to surrender immediately and he endorsed again or be ready to face the legal action and appeal the state government to act upon immediately and at the same time he requested for immediate starting of the tender process and completion of the re-assessment of remaining stretch of road from Pai gate to Bopi so as to process the legal action.
