Former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister and the MLA of Sagalee constituency Nabam Tuki today appeal the Goan Burah and Goan Buri institution to re-dedicate themselves for the cause and development of state and welfare of its people. Promote the Goan Burah institution at height while dealing with social and welfare activities.
Tuki was addressing 18th GBs (Goan Burah & Goan Buri) foundation day cum conference as chief guest. He said that GB institution have been maintaining old age customary law, culture and tradition of tribals.
He assured to look into the demands of GB association for enhancement of their honorarium, free connections of power supply , construction of guest house etc.
Sagalee ADC S Lowang, ATCGBW President Tana Taya and General Secretary Yowa Rebia among others also address the function. they express their concern for the new appointment of GBs and urge the authorities to consult the association enable to use select eligible candidate on merits who can perform duty to strengthen local administration.
AAPGBWA Former President Nabam Epo among more than 500 GBs alongwith executive members from all district of state took part.
In this conference a resolution have been passed for total Banning on hunting of wild animals and birds for commercial propose, banned on cultivation and selling of Ganja, drugs and Marjuana.
