AKA felicitates winners of National Karate championship
Gold medalists along with two silver and five bronze of National Karate Championship felicitated in a special programme organised by Arunachal Karate-Do Association (AKA).

Ten Gold medalists along with two silver and five bronze including Karate Association of India (KAI) president, Likha Tara received a special felicitation programme organised by Arunachal Karate-Do Association (AKA) here on Monday.
The KAI Sub Juniour & Senior National Karate Championship was held in New Delhi from 10-13 June, wherein AKA players put an impressive performance, winning a total of seventeen medals and secured 3rd rank in Senior and fifth rank in Sub Junior National Karate championship.
Black Belt 8th Dan awarded to Hanshi Likha Tara: On the occasion AKA also felicitated president of KAI and AKA Likha Tara who was awarded Black Belt 8th Dan(Hachi Dan) by the Technical Committee and Executive Council of Karate Association of India appreciating his good administrative and excellent work for the Karate.
Speaking on the occasion, Tara congratulating medal winners lauded the performances of the players and expressed satisfaction. He stressed on keeping practicing, and exhorted them to enhance their skills and techniques for future performances. Tara informed that the Army based at Shillong is going to train gold medalists from all over the country and has offered training to State’s two players who could not win gold for free of cost and urged for participation.
While congratulating all the medal winners, Arunachal Pradesh Olympic Association general secretary A K Techi also extended appreciation to the coaches of the team.
