AP Secretariat Admin destroys 45 Kgs Seized Tobacco products worth Rs 50 thousand

Today, the Administration of Arunachal Pradesh civil secretariat destroyed the 45 kgs seized tobacco product worth Rupees fifty thousand. This is the fourth time the administration destroyed such huge quantity of tobacco product.
AP Secretariat Administration Deputy Secretary C K Gohain said that the Arunachal Pradesh civil secretariat campus have been declared as tobacco free zone.

The office should be treated like a temple where the officers and staffs work for hours together which need to keep clean and hygiene. He said.
Earlier in the month of June, OSD to Chief Secretary Anirudh S Singh with a view to keep government offices clean and for the interest of public health issued a notice for implementation of Tabacco Free Zone in all Government offices even in district level.
Under Secretary (SA) K Gamoh, Under Secretary GA Okang Perme, and Security Officer of the AP secretariat were present on the occasion.
