The Police under the direct supervision of East Kameng Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police and with the help of general public today succeeded in apprehending the absconding accused, identified as Tapung Waii.
Tapung Waii was wanted in the case of alleged murder of one youth and infliction of grievous injury to two other youths here at Seppa.
Acted on the information about the hideout, the police team led by SI S Don and SI Fecha Lingfa nabbed the accused from nearby area of Upper Bosso Colony, Seppa.
Meanwhile, EKSWCO, Waii Welfare Society and public have lauded the police and the district administration for their swift action in apprehending the accused.
