Attending the BJP rally here at Moh-Mol general ground, Kharsang, DCM Chowna Mein asked the party workers to be dedicated and sincere to their responsibility on Thursday.
He said under the BJP government Kharsang has witnessed tremendous development in road connectivity, education, health and administrative reforms, adding that it could only be achieved because of the developmental oriented mentality of the people of Kharsang.
Speaking on the Anti PRC issue, Chowna Mein said that the state government only tried to solve the PRC issue as it was a “human issue.” But the Congress created misunderstanding among the masses, he added.
“We tried to solve the PRC issue with strong conditions, accordingly to the family tree of the Non APST settled at Namsai and Changlang district,” Mein said adding that the state government will not compromise on BEFR Act.
He said that APCC president Takam Sanjoy, who himself pressed for granting PRC when he was the JHPC chairman, created commotion when we tried to solve the issue.
He said people should not believe in the false assurance of the Congress party as they are Chameleon. Congress should not blame the Chief Minister Pema Khandu on PRC issue as it was a well planned move by the party (Congress) to tarnish the hard earned image of BJP party and its ministers.
Also state BJP president Tapir Gao in his speech said that Congress will never regain its power in the state as the party has only filled nomination in 46 seats whereas the BJP has filled in all 60 assembly seats added with 2 Lok Sabha seat.
He also clarified on alleged religious politics played by the Congress party that, BJP only provided party ticket to those candidate who belong from Hindu religion. “Tickets were not issued on the ground of religion but on the basis of discipline and party ideology, as we respect all religion, Gao said adding that Congress aims to target BJP in the cheapest form of politics, ‘Religion’.
Meanwhile, the MLA contender from the 50 Miao constituency Kamlung Mossang said that BJP is clear with its political agenda of all round development of state.
He said, we go with the vision of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikaas, which in the two and half year of BJP government in the state people has practically witnessed. Various developmental projects has been implemented in the Miao constituency, from health, education, Individual Household Toilet (IHHT) and the very recently inaugurated sports school by Sports & Youth minister Dr. Mohesh Chai, he said.
Targeting on the opposition party, Congress, Mossang said that the party (Congress) beside campaigning the people on developmental aspects should stop playing blame game and pouring false allegation on BJP party.
“As the people of my constituency has witnessed the power of BJP party to bring development in the state, I do hope in the days to come the Lotus will bloom again in the state with the undying support of you all,” Mossang added.
