BJP adopts resolution of separate administrative cadre for Arunachal Pradesh

Chief Minister Pema Khandu while addressing the BJP state executive meeting  reiterated the dire need for a separate administrative cadre for the State. The Chief Minister was of the opinion that because of lack of a separate cadre, the bureaucracy is always in a fluid situation, which hinders continuity and affects the rapid pace of development in the State.

Hence, he proposed to the house, for the second time in an State Executive Meeting to demand for separate IAS and IPS cadre for Arunachal Pradesh.  The house unanimously adopted the resolution moved by the  Chief Minister and proposes to appeal to  Prime Minister Modi ji for the same.

The Chief Minister also assured the gathering not have any apprehension regarding CAB as it will not impinge on indigenous tribal rights in any which way.

In his key note address Tapir Gao , State President & Member of Parliament  lauded the party members for their hard work and congratulated them for victories in the election as a result of their hard work.

Further, he impressed upon them that now there is great onus on the part of the Party to fulfill the promises made to the people and satisfy their aspirations. He reasoned with them that winning of election is not the end but just beginning of the task of development. He advised them to follow the example of Prime Minister Narendra Modi  ji and contribute their time and energy in nation building.

Deputy Chief Minister  Chowna Mein also addressed the house and spoke on economic reforms announced by the Union Government.

In his deliberations, Deputy Chief Minister elaborated the various economic incentives and measures including taxation reforms undertaken by the Union Government to boost further growth of the economy.

Chowna Mein also pointed out that in a recession shrouded global economy; India was still one of the strongest economies today.

On the occasion, Dominic Tadar, State Vice President made presentation on the Membership drive of BJP that was carried out by the State unit. He announced that the State BJP unit has now added 1, 68, 452 new primary members.  This has now increased the primary membership of BJP to 3, 67,587 and active members to 9085, making BJP the largest party in the state.

After the presentation of Dominic Tadar, on membership drive, a presentation was made on Organisational Election in the State by  Roding Pertin, State Returning Officer. He announced that election was conducted in 95 percent of the Booth Level Committees and Mandal Level election is ensuing soon. Shri Pertin also announced that BJP Arunachal Pradesh stood first in the country with the highest percentage of election at the booth level.

A presentation on abrogation of Article 370 was also kept in the State Execute Meeting, Laisam Simai, MLA Nampong  was the speaker on the topic.

In his speech Laisam Simai narrated the history behind Article 370 and its various lacunaes. He stressed that Article 370 was inserted as a temporary measure during Nehru’s time but in the last 70 years the temporary arrangement was never repeal by the Congress Government and the bold decision was taken only by BJP Government, under the leadership of PM Modi  which will liberate millions of Kashmiris who were under the yoke of Article 370

Further,Simai also elucidated the various unprecedented developmental schemes announced and being implemented  by the Union Government post abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir. In the same vein, Simai also assured the gathering that there is no intention on the part of BJP to tamper with Article 371 and other special constitutional provisions in connection with the northeast region.

In the meeting, Bamang Felix, Home  Minister  also spoke about Hamara  Arunachal  Abhiyan being launched by the State Government.  In his address he told the gathering that Hamara Arunachal is a mission to empower the people in becoming participant in implementation of law and order activities.

During the meeting, BJP Arunachal Pradesh also facilitated some its members who were doing exemplary party activities using the ModiApp.  The Certificate of Appreciation was given away by State President and Deputy Chief Minister.
