Annual SPs & COs conference held at Police headquarters Itanagar on Friday to review the security scenario and address the professional issue related to policing.
Home Minister Kumar Waii graced the occasion as chief guest .While welcoming the Chief Guest and Commissioner Home J.S Meena , DGP AP Sandeep Goel gave a detailed brief about the crime and law& order situation with special focus on over-all improvement in the Police response to the public needs.
While elaborating, Shri Goel mentioned the good work done by Police in the field of drug control, counter insurgency, rescue and relief measures, community policing initiatives such as tourist police, Nagrik – bhaichara committee , sports activities etc.
DGP address was followed by presentations by all district SPs and COs battalion in which various issues and challenges of policing were highlighted by the concerned officers.
After listening to all officers Hnble Home Minister shri Waii complimented them for excellent maintenance of law and order and successful investigation of some of the very importance cases. While addressing the officers home minister assured them for early redressal of infrastructure bottlenecks , which they are facing in the field. Further he exhorted the district SPs for strengthening the police-public relations.

The conference ended with the closing remarks of Sunil Garg IPS, IGP Arunachal police in which he thanked Hnble home minister and Commissioner home for sparing time from there busy schedule.
