Arunachal: NDRF showcase skills on rescuing victims
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel, who saved many lives during natural disasters and accidents, staged a demonstration on their capabilities in rescuing people stuck in high rises during earthquakes or other disasters.

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) 12th battalion based in Papum Pare district organized mass demonstration on accounts of maintaining safety and security during the time of emergency and disaster and also demonstrated several way of rescue and relief measures provided to victims and general public during emergency.
NDRF 12 Bn 2nd in command Arun Deogam, Deputy Commandant PN Singh, Pranab Daimari, Medical Commandant Dr. KL Rongmei and NIT Professors and hundreds of NIT students were present on the occasion.
Deogam inform that such demonstration is necessary for general public as everyone need to know about safety and security so that all remain safe and secure.
The officers and officials of NDRF also elaborated several way and means to remain safe and secure during the time of disaster.
Collapse structure search and rescue (CSSR), Chemical Biological radiological Nuclear (CBRN) Res Q mobile communication, canine search (dogs squad) demonstration etc were preformed.
