Mob attacked the private residence of sitting Yachuli MLA Likha Saaya here around 9:00pm today.
The furniture kept on the corridor was burnt down by the miscreants who also pelted stones on the house of the MLA damaging the window panes.
“Situation under control now. Many chairs burnt down but house not burnt. However, many glasses broken due to stone pelting,” wrote Capital SP Tumme Amo in a whatsapp message.
He further declined to divulge further detail on the issue.
