Arunachal: Man sustains critical injuries in elephant attack
A man sustained critical injuries after being attacked by an wild elephant in Kimin circle. The injured has been identified Riya Tanang, resident of of Durpa Village.

One person critically injured in Kimin circle on Monday by the wild elephant, informed Kimin Adl Deputy Commissioner Likha Tejji.
Tejji inform that One Riya Tanang (40) resident of Durpa Village has been brutally attacked by wild elephant in the far jungle area of Aibu village of Kimin circle on Sunday.
The victim is admitted in Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Science (TRIHMS), Naharlagun and stated to be in critical condition.
He further said that the matter has been informed to the Forest officials and Deputy Commissioner, Yupia for further action.
The ADC, who also visited the injured patient in the hospital, meanwhile, appealed to the people of Kimin area not to venture into the jungles for hunting and fishing purposes risking their own life.
