Arunachal: Kaso visits and inspects under construction Borum Railway Bridge
Techi Kaso, MLA Itanagar, requested the Railway authority to complete the Borum railway bridge between Lekhi and Borum as soon as possible.

Techi Kaso, MLA Itanagar on Thursday visited and inspected under construction Railway Bridge near Naharlagun Railway Station, which connect the National Highway- 415 from Lekhi Village to Borum.
It mest be mentioned that the project of this Railway Bridge with a cost of Rs. 111.00 Crores was sanctioned in the year 2018. It is a long felt need of the people residing nearby and also to reduce traffic congestion of the Capital Complex.
After taking a stock of the work, Kaso requested the railway authority to expedite the construction work and complete it at the earliest for the greater interest of the people.
He further added that the completion of the bridge may help in reducing traffic congestion in the capital complex.
According to Railway sources the work of 2-lane CC pavement, approach road and sub-structure are almost complete except for 200 m CC pavement still yet to be done, due to land dispute issue.
They also informed that the work of the super structure has been already begun with fabrication work of the steel bridge and targeting to complete by the month of May 2020.
