As per information around thirty various food processing industries will be established where the local farmers of the area will get lots of benefits for the economic transformation and economic up liftment. It is also expected that around 3000-4000 local people specially farmers and unemployed youths of the area will get employment opportunities for livelihood and sustainability.
CS inform that Arunachal Pradesh is the food bowl where all types of Agri and Horti crops can be cultivated and the farmers can avail maximum benefit out of it and the government will provide platform for backward and forward linkage so that the farmer get maximum benefit and such establishment of Mega Food park is to encourage the farmer and they will get the double income. State government has provided sufficient fund for strengthening the backward and forward linkage.
He also appreciated the promoter, Likha Maj for providing of around 75 acres of land for the establishment of Mega Food Park in the state. He also assured to provide the basic logistic support for early commissioning of the Mega Food Park.
The team include Commissioner (Power) G S Meena, Secretary (Planning) Hemansu Gupta, Secretary (Industries) N T Glow, Secretary (Agriculture/Horticulture) Bidol Tayeng, Director (Industries) Habung Donyi, PHED Chief Engineer Toko Jyoti, PWD SE Naharlagun, Circle Officer Banderdewa and others officers and officials accompanied the inspection team.
