Arunachal: DC directs GB to restrain from election campaigning

Deputy Commissioner Kra Daadi district Solung Miji while interacting the Goan Buras (GB),  said that they are part of the Govt and hence, urged them to remain neutral and restrain themselves from campaigning for a particular party or candidate.

He also sought their cooperation for arranging potters to carry election’s materials and to guide the polling team to the remotest polling stations, which are to be covered by foot march. He also advocate for clean and ethical voting in the election.

The team of Deputy Commissioner were on two days touring programme in Chambang and Gangte circle of the district visited various polling station on Feb 14 & 15 and inspected and take stock of  of their accessibility and infrastructure in light of ensuing Election in the State.

The team consist of DC S. Miji along with ADC Pania Charu Nilli, EAC Bamin Tarang, CO Noklem Wangjen and BDOs Tassar Daba and Gumku Tako make a worthwhile trip to Chambang and Gangte circles on 14 & 15 February.

The team visited some of the remotest polling stations in the circles to take stock While interacting with the GBs, DC EAC Bamin Tarang and CO Noklem Wangjen with the help of local interpreter Taring Omo (AFA) also conducted SVEEP activities in some of the polling stations.
