A student of IGG College died under mysterious circumstances in Tezu, his body was recovered by the police from the water storage tank.

The police here found the body of missing college student Arun Modi on Sunday. The decomposed body was found floating in a water tank near the botanical garden here.
Modi, a 5th semester student of IGG College here, was reported missing from the Dangoria Baba Mandir area since around 11.30 pm of 13 September.
The body was recovered a day after an FIR was lodged by the sister of the deceased, Minam Modi, a resident of Remi village in Dambuk in Dibang Valley district, police said.
The Tezu police have launched an investigation after registering the case under Section 302/201 IPC.
According to family sources, Modi was elected as the assistant cultural secretary in the recently-concluded college election.
