Arunachal: CEO direct EROs to ensure fake and illegal voters free electoral roll
Nirvachan Office received a representation from ANSU regarding deletion of all illegal and fake voters from the Nyishi inhabitant district.

The Chief Election Officer (CEO) directed all concerned Electoral Registration Officer (EROs) to ensure that no fake and illegal voters are enrolled.
In an order issued by Nirvachan Office said that a representation received from All Nyishi Students Union (ANSU) regarding deletion of all illegal and fake voters from the Nyishi inhabitant district.
The order NO-EN/OP (Complaint)-02/19/35 dated January 30 have been sent to all district Election Officers (DEROs) of Papum Pare, Lower Subansiri, Kurung Kumey, East Kameng, and Deputy Commissioner of Kamle, Kra Daadi and Pakke Kessang respectively
Deputy Chief Election Officer Liken Koyu when contacted, said that few complaints were received even earlier but the competent authority of addition and deletion of voters is Election Registration Officer of the area, after draft publication on 1st September 2018 few complaint have received but there was no specific so it have been sent to all the EROs of the respective district who will see and verify the complaint there.
Koyu further said that full team of the Election Commission of India (ECI) is visiting various states of the country and inspecting the preparation of the election process of various states of the country. The commission is expected to visit Arunachal Pradesh in 2nd week of February of oversee the poll preparation of which the state will go to poll for general election as well as simultaneous election of the state assembly. Koyu added.
