Arunachal: ALSDSU calls 36-hour Lower Subansiri bandh on 19 and 20 Nov
The proposed bandh call will begin from 5 am on November 19 and culminate at 5 pm on the next day.

The All Lower Subansiri District Students Union (ALSDSU) has declared 36 hours shut down of the entire Lower Subansiri District starting from November 19, reiterating the State Government and the District Administration to address their charters of demands in connection with the Trans Arunacahal Highway (TAH) particularly from Potin to Pamluk stretch.
The proposed bandh call will begin from 5 am on November 19 and culminate at 5 pm on the next day.
As stated in the intimation letter submitted to the DC of Lower Subansiri regarding the 36 hours dawn to dusk bandh call, the ALSDSU stated that ” it is the second phase having shown their resentment over the administration not addressing their charters of demands in the form of 12 hours bandh called earlier last month”.
The union stated that “addressing and bringing solutions are paramount for the greater interest of the people of the entire district and the state as a whole”.
Their charters of demands include, immediate arrest of all fake and forged beneficiaries and all government officials involved in the TAH from Potin to Pamluk stretch compensation scam along with suspension and compulsory retirements of the government officials from their respective post and position, immediate maintenance of road the road, immediate solution and disbursement of payment to all genuine beneficiaries to those who have not received their compensation amount, and to immediately start land acquisition process that fall under RoW from Potin to Pamluk stretch.
