Khandu’s decisions are BOLD and RIGHTFUL- CoSAAP

Confederation of Service Association of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP) today lauded Chief Minister Pema Khandu’s recent decisions taken in favour of welfare of the state and state government employees.

The meeting ended with positive note. The Chief Minister assured to place the all demands in next Cabinet meeting for discussion and consideration. After Cabinet discussion, he assured to invite CoSAAP members for a final shape of the demands. Hence, ongoing agitation Called OFF. Pate Marik President CoSAAP.

Calling these decisions as ‘bold’ and ‘rightful’,  CoSAAP the apex body of state government employees in its meeting with Chief Minister Pema Khandu today, extended appreciation for implementation of the Central Civil Service (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 by the state government.  CoSAAP also appreciated the decision to enhance the wages of contingency employees to Rs 1000 per month.

On the recent budget passed in the 11th session of Legislative Assembly, the confederation termed it as holistic and balanced one. It appreciated the innovative step of the state government in introducing composite sanction of schemes through planning and finance department from current fiscal year that considerably reduced the rush which had been a regular feature during fag end of every financial yearthat has checked mismanagement of funds.

CoSAAP further thanked Chief Minister for his bold decision to conduct recruitment of group B & C posts through Arunachal Pradesh Service Commission (APPSC).

Lauding various reforms taken in education sector, the organisation appreciated the decision for one-time relaxation on recruitment rules for appointment of subject teachers to recruit specialized academicians.

Chief Minister urged the employees to inculcate work culture, acknowledging its gradual degradation that could jeopardise the state’s future.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, PHED Minister Bamang Felix and Chief Secretary Shakuntala Gamlin.
