Tawang, Sela Pass and Bomdila have witnessed heavy snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh with temperatures dipping to subzero level, informed by so many our readers and face book friends from this region of Arunachal Pradesh. one of well-wisher of Arunachal24 , Sikang Norbu clicked beautiful photographs and Videos of Snowfall in Tawang with his Mobile phone. Photographs showing that the Tawang town and hills are covered with thick snow, road was covered with more than one feet of snow. Though with the heavy snow fall tourists are thrilled but the life of the local tribal people have become miserable with chilling winds. Tawang, Sela pass, and Bomdial has been witnessing a cold wave for the last few days, which has thrown local life out of gear. The entire Twang valley is presently covered with a thick blanket of snow and whole of Arunachal is going to be gripped with unusual long spell of cold wave.
Yesterday a Bulgarian woman died while 127 other tourists, including five foreigners, were rescued by the army after they were stuck in a raging blizzard at the historic Sela Pass near Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh.
