A massive traffic jam experienced by the people who prefer NH-415 between Itanagar-Naharlagun and have to waste hours together on Saturday.
Naharlagun SDPO Make Bui while excepting the jam said that today jam is not a normal traffic jam but was due to an accident near Sohum Shoppie shopping Mall on NH-415in afternoon.
The accident occurred between a Scorpio bearing registration No-AR 06 9372 and a Wagonr bearing registration No-AR 15 0884 and since there is only one direct and shortest route between Itanagar –Naharlagun as such a jam was seen from Shiv Mandir point toward Itanagar while Lekhi in toward Nirjuli township respectively.
However the accident vehicle have been removed from the road and jam have been free. It would take some hours for free and smooth flow of traffic on the National Highway.
Bui went on adding that 50 police personnel and traffic police including few officers have been deployed on road to make free flow of traffic.
He however appeal the esteem citizens of capital complex to drive smoothly to reach the destination properly, safely and conveniently for safety and security of all road users.
However, the jam was seen till 7 PM late evening.
