We are fighting for justice, not for personal interests,” said Risso Kiagong, the elder brother of late Tari while addressing a press conference on Monday.
Expressing reservations over the inaction of the state government towards their demands, he also informed that they have given sufficient time but the state government did not listen to it. we have submitted a memorandum to Governor demanding that the culprit(s) behind the murder of Tari and others be arrested at the earliest and handed over to them.
“Even if the law of land does not allow us to punish the “murderer” we want the government to at least identify and reveal the personal name to us,” he appealed
It also accused the DSP, Security cell, PHQ, Make Bui for allegedly creating a false and fabricated report” on Tari’s death to bury the case and to hide evidence and demanded his termination from the service.
