Itanagar: Minster directs officials to fast track work on badminton academy
Minister Sport & Youth Affairs Dr Mohesh Chai directed the officials to fast track work on the establishment of Dorjee Khandu Memorial Badminton Academy.

Minister Sport & Youth Affairs etc Dr. Mohesh Chai visited the site proposed for setting up of the Dorjee Khandu Memorial Badminton Academy.
After inspecting the proposed site for the project in between Itanagar-Naharlagun near Shiv Mandir Dr Mohesh Chai directed the officials to fast track the establishment of Dorjee Khandu Memorial Badminton Academy,
Minister visited the badminton academy site to get a first hand knowledge about the present status of the said project for which the foundation was laid in the year 2016.
Dr. Chai instructed Department officials to take it in a mission mode to get it’s construction work started within this financial year, so that we have a world class academy in our own state.
He was accompanied with Secretary Sports & Youth Affairs Dani Sulu, Chairman Sports Association of Arunachal Bamang Tago, Director Sports incharge Mala Lingi and other officers from sports department.
Upcoming Badminton players of ASBA were also present during the visit.
