Itanagar : Carpeting of Jully-Ganga Market road on a war footing

The carpeting works of alternate road in Itanagar capital complex from Jully Try junction at Papu Nallah to Ganga Market began today on wee hours.
PWD Capital Division (B) Executive Engineer Tana Nekam alongwith AE Ipe Bassar and other official visited the ongoing road carpeting works which began from Chimpu side which connect NH-415.
Talking to Arunachl24 Nekam said that the “we have started the work today early morning and it would take some time but totally depend on the weather condition if it is favourable”.
“Though we were ready to start the work on Sunday early morning but pushed us for few hours because the road was wet due to rain at night, so that we started it on intervening night of Monday.
The repairing and renovation work of this road is in war footing. This is an alternate road of the twin capital at present and it is taken up on top priority by the government and the administration.
He inform that the administration have stopped the plying of vehicle on the stretch in night hours from 8 PM till morning, though we are working round the clock and hope that the work would be done in proper way if any types of hindrance is not done including the favourable weather.
He however appeal the denizens of twin capital city to cooperate with the ongoing carpeting works and inconvenience caused to public due to closure of the said road.
