Heavy downpour and landslide have created havoc in state and leaving lots of suffering to the masses.
The downpour continue since a week is creating heavy damages of road and dwelling houses across the state and traffic movement is also affected do to snapping of road communication owing to landslide in various parts of state.
Bhalukpong in West Kameng report heavy downpour shows it effect and the Koila Bhati Middle School submerged due to overflowing drainage while Lapang Hudda Middle School threatened by nearby river flowing and the local demanded immediate protection wall to save the School.
The hundred of standing vehicles was anyhow managed to pass through the stretch of road which was closed due to landslide at various location on Bhalukpong-Bomdila road yesterday, the blockage at Kamla-I was under restoration the personnel from 127 GREEF and panchayat leaders from Bhalukpong and Jamiri area supervised by local MLA Kumsi Sidisow and EAC Bhalukpong Tamo Riba arranged food and water and even transportation to ferry them to safer place yesterdays and even today. However the landslide was continued today in various places in different parts of district.
Talking to arunachal24 Kumsi Sidisow said that the Tippi river is also over flowing and the river water have entered into village and several housed in Tippi villages have been affected. He appeal one and all local people including government servant to remain alert and extend help to the affected people during natural calamity.
Report from Doimukh said that due to chocked drainage system in Market line the Doimukh Police Station submerged with the rain water.
The road in several sector and colony in Itanagar township also badly affected due to heavy downpour. Several trees fallen on road at valious location which include one near the resident of PPA President Khafa Bengia at Mowb-II, near Hotel Todo, and landlside at various location DDK road, Pachali road, Lobi, Senki view, Chimpu-Jully road and even on Papu Nallah-Yupia road.
The drainage water were overflowing at various location on the highway while damages of road and four gumti was reported between tanagar-Naharlagun
