Arunachal: SYDOA gets affiliation from AOA

The Shi-Yomi District Olympic Association ( SYDOA ) has got affiliated from Arunachal Olympic Association ( AOA ) on 20th July 2019 will act as a catalyst in bridging the aspirations of the young sports persons to reach the National and International Competitions.
The aims and Objects of the association are to create conducive sports atmosphere in the districts by organizing invitation tournaments so that young talented sportspersons will be encouraged, to take to sports and games thereby contributing to the talent pool of the state, to support conduct of tournaments by the credible registered Sports Clubs.
The Shi-Yomi District Olympic Association (SYDOA) formed on 15th May 2019 with 7 (seven) members, it is acutely felt to introduce a programme through which grass root level planning can be activated in line with the aspirations and dreams of the young sports persons hailing from remote areas.
In a mail to Arunachal24, Tali Yorme, General Secretary, SYDOA, expressed his gratitude to Secretary General Abraham Techi for recognized Shi-Yomi District Olympic Association thereby issued an Affiliation letter.
