Arunachal: Rebia inaugurates Duda Village under Banderdewa Circle

Minister Land Management, Environment and Forest and Indigenous Affairs Nabam Rebia amid huge gatheringtoday inaugurated new Village “Duda” under Banderdewa Circle of Arunachal Pradesh.
Addressing the gathering Minister said that the word ‘Duda’ mean’s ‘the first ray of the sun and Arunachal being the first state in country to received the sun ray’.
Rebia while said that one have to live in peace with harmony with lots of happiness among all while performing all one own religion, belief, tradition and culture without hurting others.
He said life will remain healthy if ecology balance with nature is maintained and warned the locals those who found in hunting and damaging the ecology, he ask them to plant trees around river side, landslide prone area, road side and Schools and other installation in the Panchayat area and love nature.
The inmates of the village having more than 40 houses, submit 3 point memorandum to the Minister demanding for electricity connection, road from Abo-Tani Colony to Duda village, bridge over Duda nallah.
While referring to the memorandum Rebia promise and assure to construct the road from NH-415 to Duda Village measuring 2 Km under RWD or other schemes, a hanging bridge over Karsingsa Nallah with an estimate cost of 10 lakhs from MLADF while assure to get electricity connection within short time.
He directed the officers present to prepare estimate for construction of flood control measures for land protection measures for next financial year. He also assure to take care of other problems from time to time but sought support for implementation and upkeep of development scheme and infrastructure
Capital Deputy Commissioner Incharge Tolum Dupak whiel said the villagers to remain with the administration for all short of activities and abide by the rule of law in maintaining all affairs of the village. He assure his support of the administration.
Banderdewa ZPM Kipa Urni, IMC Councillor Tai Tassung, Circle Officer Neelam Teji, Village Committee Chairman Tani Bagang, Organising Committee Chairman Kipa Taruk, Secretary Lokam Talo, BJP leader Kipa Taniang among large numbers of villagers from Karsingsa, Abo-Tani and other were present on the occasion.
