Arunachal: POSHAN Maah under POSHAN Abhiyaan to be celebrated from 1st Sep
Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar asked the department concerned to ensure that POSHAN reaches every household during POSHAN Maah.

A review meeting in connection with celebration of Rashtriya Poshan Maah under POSHAN Abhiyaan in the month of September, 2019 in the state of Arunachal Pradesh was held under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary Naresh Kuamr at his Office Chamber in Civil Secretariat, Itanagar, today.
The POSHAN Maah will be celebrated from 1st September 2019 to 30th September 2019. For smooth and successful celebration of the POSHAN Maah Chief Secretary, Naresh Kumar emphasized coordination between the Women and Child Development department (Nodal Department) and Line Departments and key stakeholders (Health & FW, PHE & WS, Education, Agriculture, Horticulture etc).
He asked the department concerned to ensure that POSHAN reaches every household during POSHAN Maah.
In order to bring visibility and promotion to POSHAN Maah which aims to improve coverage of beneficiaries with health and nutritional awareness campaigns, he advised use of Radio Jingles, multimedia campaigns etc.
He also directed the WCD to upload all the reports and activities undertaken during the celebration of POSHAN MAAH in the Jan Andolan Dashboard of POSHAN Abhiyaan.
Secretary WCD Niharika Rai, Secretary Health & FW Juhi Mukherjee, Secretary PHE Dani Sulu, Director WCD Tokmem Pertin Loyi, State Nodal Officer POSHAN D.K. Thungon and other senior officers of the Line Departments were present in the review meeting.
