Arunachal- Libang discusses road project with Highway officials

Minister RD, Panchayat Raj and Cooperation Aalo Libang discussed various ongoing road project in Arunachal, with the officers of Highway department at the conference Hall here today.
Addressing the meeting Libang said that the providing the connectivity to the people is the commitment of the state government. We have been trying our level best to provide the connectivity through the various schemes of GOI , like construction of Trans Arunachal Highway measuring more than 2000 KM, more than 100 PMGSY road in different district and several other roads in the state by PWD and other departments.
He discussed the major road to be constructed in the Upper Siang district which include Two lanning of Yingkiong to Bishing (Porge Via Gette-Pugging-Likor-Paling-Jido0 Length-160 KM), Two lanning of Zido to Singha road, Length-94 Km, Two laning of Khanu to Khonsa road and Panchao to Nagaland, Two lanning from Pango-Jorging road, Two lanning road from Sarkam Point-Singa Via Eko Domping road and other issues.
The meeting also discussed with the consultants of the firm for proposal, alignment, survey and investigation, DPR and other and directed them to expedite the all such works so that the works awarding process to be start as soon as possible.
Chief Engineer Highway Toli Basar while said that on Potin-Pangin road, the payment of compensation is almost compete. Several committee have been made under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner and stake holders. These Committees are verifying problems of the EPC contractors and the inventory at the site which began from December 16.
Upper Siang Deputy Commissioner Duli Kamduk , former Information Commissioner Bani danggen, SE (Highway) S Sumnyan, EE (Highway) Yigkiong Division R.N Singh, Khonsa PWD EE Gyati Anda, Yingkiong LRSO Nikson Danggen and consultants of the above mentioned road of Upper Siang and Tirap district among other were present during the meeting.
All five schemes were demonstrated through power point presentation by the officials of the firm and officials of the department.
