Around seven dwelling houses have been completely damaged and few of them have washed away due to cloud burst in Kasu area of Singchung sub-division.

Heavy rains and flash floods on Tuesday hammered several part of Arunachal Pradesh, and washed away several dwelling houses, bridges and roads. One body have been recovered from Pakke Kessang while several still missing both in Pakke Kessang and West Kameng district respectively.
Thrizino-Buragoan MLA Kumsi Sidisow while briefing the media here at Itanagar inform that around seven dwelling houses have been completely damaged and few of them have washed away due to cloud burst in Kasu area of Singchung sub-division of his assembly constituency on Monday afternoon.
Out of two person missing one have been found who have been admitted to Hospital for treatment while one person is still missing, Sidisow informed.
Administration asked hundreds of those passengers who are stranded on both side of the road have been asked to take the Kalaktang Rowta (Assam) route to reach their destination, Sidisow informed.
The matter have also been inform to Chief Minister today who have directed to immediately carry out rescue operation and other help to the victim. He said he would also visit the area tomorrow. Sidisow added.
Report received from Pakke Kessang district said that on Monday at around 7.15 pm a car had rolled down into 100 mtrs gorge and overturned in Passa river. Out of 5 Occupants of the Car, the Driver Mallo Modon, 39 yrs and Techi Daniel, 18 yrs escaped from the accident with severe injuries.
One dead body of Prashant Neog, 18 yrs has been recovered from the gorge by Pakke Kessang police team and Passa Valley and taken to Sagalee.
overnight effort search and rescue operation carried out but the bodies of other 2 occupants, could not find. ‘Ghokonto Neog’ father of Prashant, resident of Sagalee and one ‘Chetry’ is still missing and search still continued.
In a message from Pakke Kessang SP Jimmy Cheram said that the search team of police and youths of the area are still searching for other person.
Information received from Sagalee said that former Chief Minister and Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki along with team of NDRF inspector led by Patras Guria with 33 members and SDRF team led by Sub-inspector C.Taya with 12 members reached accident spot for rescue operation which took place in deep river Passa on Monday at near Rello under Pakke Kessang. They confirmed two live safe, one death and two missing.

Information from Kadeya Bana, East Kameng said that around five houses have been completely washed away on midnight of Sunday. All the household materials, personal belonging and domestic animals also washed away. However the residents are stated to be safe. The incident took place at downstream of Kadeya Sobung where is bridge is under construction and abutment on both bank was full of soil. A sources said.
