Arunachal Governor, CM discussed developmental issues of the State
The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) and Chief Minister Pema Khandu discussed about the developmental issues of the State and future course of action to expedite important projects.

The Chief Minister Pema Khandu called on the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar on 4th November 2019. They discussed about the developmental issues of the State and future course of action to expedite important projects. Issues pertaining to Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission were deliberated upon.
The matter of airlifting of civil supplies by Indian Air Force and the settlement of the pending payment of over Rs. 288 Crores came up for review in the meeting. It was decided that the State Chief Secretary and the Commissioner Finance must meet the Union Home Secretary for resolving the issue at the earliest.
Preparation for next batch of students for Sainik School, Niglok, East Siang District was reviewed and it was felt that the preparation for the arrival of the next batch of students must be completed at the earliest.
The Governor emphasised on proper monitoring of developmental projects to ensure that the works are implemented within the time frame, particularly road projects.
The Governor commended the Chief Minister for the successful conduct of the Tawang Festival 2019.
