Arunachal CM calls on the Governor

The Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Pema Khandu called on the Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar on 20th November 2018. They discussed developmental issues of the State.
The Governor apprised the Chief Minister about the discussion he had with the Commissioner, Kendriya Vidhyalaya, Santosh Kumar Mall, and the finalization of opening of seven Kendriya Vidhyalayas in the State, for which the necessary procedural activities are now underway.
The Governor also discussed about the Arunachali Armed Forces Officers’ Groups of ‘Pay back to Society’ programme, where in officers of Arunachal Pradesh in Indian Army, Navy and Air Force will visit schools and colleges in different parts of the State from 25th November to 2nd December 2018 and deliver motivational talks to the students. It aims to motivate the youth of the State to join armed forces.
In the meeting, the Governor shared his interactions with Union Ministers for Culture and Tourism in the National Capital New Delhi and his observation during the visit to Statue of Unity at Kevadia, Gujarat.
